Sheck Wes, real name Khadimou Rassoul Cheikh Fall, (born September 10, 1998 in Harlem, New York, USA) is an American-Senegalese rapper and singer-songwriter.

His life changed dramatically when he was offered a modeling assignment for Kanye West’s sneaker line. He then shifted his focus from basketball to modeling. One thing led to another, and Sheck eventually met the right people who helped him launch his music career.

He’s known for his song Mo Bamba (in tribute to basketball player Mohamed Bamba), released in 2017 and going viral in 2018. He appears on the JackBoys project on Travis Scott’s Cactus Jack Records label.

In October 2018, Sheck released his debut album « Mudboy », which became a commercial success. The album peaked in the top 20 of « Billboard 200 ». Other popular songs from the album include « Jiggy on the Shits » and « Gmail ».

He enters the 2020 NBA draft but is not selected. In March 2021, he is announced as a member of Paris Basketball, a French second division club, starting in May 2021. Sheck Wes takes part in several games with Paris Basketball.

He quickly created hit singles, such as « Live SheckWes Die SheckWes » and « Mo Bamba ». « Mo Bamba » was loved by music lovers, so Sheck Wes was contacted by numerous music labels. He subsequently signed a joint deal with « GOOD Music » and « Cactus Jack Records ».
