Tiakola, born William Mundala on December 4, 1999 in Bondy (France), first emerged within the group 4Keus before launching his solo career. A rare melodic profile, he built a signature voice at the crossroads of drill, afro influences, rap and urban pop — a formula that quickly drew attention from platforms, media and fellow artists.

Between 2021 and 2022 he established his sound with “Étincelle (Maradona)”, “La Clé”, “M3lo”, “Gasolina” (with Rsko) and “Si j’savais”. “La Clé” was certified diamond, while “Gasolina” and “Mode AV” (with Niska & Gazo) also reached diamond status, and several other tracks went platinum.

On May 27, 2022, he released his debut album Mélo, featuring Hamza, Gazo, Niska, SDM and Rsko. The album debuted at the top of the French charts and was certified diamond in September 2025 (500,000 sales equivalents). Its key visuals — “Gasolina”, “Mode AV”, “Meuda”, “Parapluie”, “R.I.Peace” — anchored him at the center of the scene.

In 2023 he crossed borders through a joint release with Dave (“Meridian” / “Special”). “Meridian” opened #1 in France, charted in the UK and New Zealand, and the video — shot between Paris, London and New York — embodied this cross-channel positioning.

In 2024 Tiakola opened a new cycle with BDLM Vol. 1, built for stage and playlists, including “PONA NINI” (with Genezio & Prototype), “G.A.N.G” (with Niska & La Mano 1.9), “Plaisir nocif” (with SDM & Liim’s) and “T.I.A” (released as a COLORS SHOW). This sequence confirmed him as a central topliner, capable of leading, floating toward pop or delivering street-functional records.

The year 2025 marks a live breakthrough: two sold-out Accor Arena dates (March 26–27), recorded and broadcast, with guests such as Ronisia, Naza and Franglish, and Dave appearing on stage. In parallel, Tiakola appears across major francophone festivals, including Les Ardentes (Liège) and Lollapalooza Paris, and joined several large summer urban lineups in Switzerland and Belgium. His Zénith tour (2025–2026) in Caen, Rouen, Le Mans, Grenoble, Brest etc. extends this momentum.

Also in 2025, Tiakola was highly awarded at Les Flammes (including Male Artist of the Year) while releasing further material: “BADMAN GANGSTA”, “STATION” (with Genezio & Nemzzz, July 2025), plus appearances tied to BDLM’s extended rollout. At that time, mainstream press referred to an “explosive rise” and estimated around 200 million cumulative streams around the album cycle.

Tiakola, de son vrai nom William Mundala, né le 4 décembre 1999 à Bondy, débute au sein du groupe 4Keus avant de tracer sa route en solo. Mélodiste rare, il impose un timbre souple, des refrains calibrés et une palette hybride entre drill, afro, rap et pop urbaine — une identité que repèrent très tôt plateformes, médias et artistes.

Entre 2021 et 2022, il installe durablement sa signature avec « Étincelle (Maradona) », « La Clé », « M3lo », « Gasolina » (avec Rsko) ou « Si j’savais ». « La Clé » devient single diamant ; « Gasolina » et « Mode AV » (avec Niska & Gazo) décrochent aussi le diamant ; plusieurs autres titres sont certifiés platine.

Le 27 mai 2022, il publie son premier album Mélo, avec Hamza, Gazo, Niska, SDM et Rsko. L’album entre directement en tête des charts et devient diamant en septembre 2025 (500 000 équivalents ventes). Les clips « Gasolina », « Mode AV », « Meuda », « Parapluie » et « R.I.Peace » participent à son installation au centre du jeu.

En 2023, son duo avec Dave (« Meridian » / « Special ») opère sa bascule internationale. « Meridian » entre n°1 en France, chart au Royaume-Uni et en Nouvelle-Zélande, et le visuel tourné entre Paris, Londres et New York fait la synthèse de cette passerelle trans-canal.

En 2024, Tiakola ouvre un nouveau chapitre avec BDLM Vol.1, pensé pour la scène et les playlists, où figurent « PONA NINI » (avec Genezio & Prototype), « G.A.N.G » (avec Niska & La Mano 1.9), « Plaisir nocif » (avec SDM & Liim’s) et « T.I.A » (décliné en COLORS SHOW). Cette série confirme son statut de topliner central : capable d’être lead, crooner, banger-maker ou featuring premium selon le terrain.

L’année 2025 marque le palier scénique : Accor Arena (26 & 27 mars) complet, show filmé et diffusé, invités (Ronisia, Naza, Franglish…), apparition de Dave sur scène, set de près de trois heures. En parallèle, Tiakola fait l’affiche de grands festivals francophones dont Les Ardentes (Liège) et Lollapalooza Paris, et rejoint plusieurs plateaux urbains d’été en Suisse et en Belgique (notamment Dour sur une édition précédente, et des slots premium fin de journée en 2024/2025 selon programmation). Sa tournée Zénith 2025–2026 (Caen, Rouen, Le Mans, Grenoble, Brest…) prolonge cette prise de territoire.

Toujours en 2025, Tiakola s’impose aux Flammes (Artiste masculin de l’année, multi-récompensé), tout en enchaînant les sorties : « BADMAN GANGSTA », « STATION » (avec Genezio & Nemzzz, juillet 2025), ainsi que des apparitions et prolongements liés à BDLM. Au moment de cette séquence, la presse généraliste parle d’un « démarrage fulgurant » et évoque près de 200 millions d’écoutes cumulées autour de l’album et de ses dérivés.
