JF « Fréro » Ehrhart
The company, FME-Booking, was founded by JF Ehrhart « Frero » after more than 15 years of professional experience in the music business.
«I started building up a name with my group in the 90’s as a hip-hop/rap music producer and manager creating a national and European buzz. Then deals were made with major record labels such as V2 Music, Sony Music, Warner or Wagram .. At that time I began to establish relationships with international artists, managers and promoters who later would become strong business partners. When Hip-Hop/RnB music went mainstream and the music industry was changing with a fall in record sales, it was also a great opportunity for new challenges. In 2005, having undertaken business management studies at the IAE school, I decided to open a new entertainment company, focused on international business.» (VIP book interview)
At that time, Fréro already had an extensive network of clients, artists and promoters in Europe, Africa and America and the field experience. He first started booking activities with US Hip-Hop groups like Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo of G-Unit, Mims, Lumidee, Rahzel of The Roots, different members of the Wu Tang, Soulja Boy and many others ..
It was not easy to secure big deals at the beginning, but thanks to his perseverance and foresight the company grew up fast and FME gradually became a key contact enabling Hip-Hop, Gangsta rap or Dancehall music to enter new markets overseas such as the south of France – Cannes, St Tropez, Monaco – Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Eastern Europe or Africa with references like The Game, G-Unit/50 Cent artists, Lil Kim, Ja Rule, Tyga, T Pain, Jeremih, YG, Sean Paul, Rick Ross and many more …
Fréro’s network in the music production business also allowed him to make collaborations between artists happen with names like The Game, Redman, Noreaga (CNN), Mobb Deep, Mc Fioti, Sean Paul and many others.
Over the years, the catalogue has expanded and now includes an Electro Music, World Music, Latino and Soul/Jazz department
Christian de Termes
Christian has had a very atypical career; born in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, son of Houphouet Boigny’s political adviser, he has a wide reaching network in West Africa, from Senegal to Gabon. Initially in the armed forces, he turned to a career in the arts in obtaining a diploma at the Boulle School of Design in Paris. He then entered the world of nightlife as club Deejay and music enthusiast.
Over the years he has developed a worldwide network of trusted VIP club contacts in the most hyped markets (Paris, St Tropez, Geneva, Courchevel, Gstaadt, St Bartelemy, St Martin, the West Indies and others …).
Chris de Termes has also built up an invaluable address book and has gained solid experience in the field of booking, programming and more generally in the field of night life.
It was with much determination that he launched the career of the Korean Psy cover with concerts and showcases on the 5 continents. He is now co-owner of the concept « Daft punk Tribute Official » validated by Daft Punk themselves.
Associated in business with JF Frero for 5 years, a faithful and professional collaboration was born which allowed FME to develop international projects for Daft Punk Tribute, The Jillionaire of Major Lazer, or Eva Simons among others …
