Jodeci<\/strong> (sometimes stylized as JoDeCi<\/strong>) is an American band, whose repertoire includes R&B, soul music, and new jack swing. The group consists of two pairs of brothers from Hampton, Virginia and Charlotte, North Carolina: Cedric & Joel Hailey and Donald & Dalvin DeGrate, all respectively known by their stage names: K-Ci<\/strong> & Jojo<\/strong>, DeVante Swing<\/strong> and Mr. Dalvin<\/strong>. The groups name is a combination of the names of all of its members: Jo-Jo, DeGrate (including both Dalvin and DeVante) and K-Ci.<\/p>\n Jodeci released their commercial debut album \u201cForever My Lady\u201d in 1991, which pawned five singles including the groups first three #1 R&B singles: the title track, \u00ab\u00a0Stay\u00a0\u00bb and \u00ab\u00a0Come and Talk to Me.\u00a0\u00bb \u201cForever My Lady\u201d peaked at eighteen on the U.S. Billboard 200 and reached number one on the R&B Albums chart where it remained for three weeks.<\/p>\n In 1993, the group released its second studio album, \u201cDiary of a Mad Band,\u201d which was Jodeci\u2019s second album to reach number-one on the R&B album chart where it stayed for two weeks.
