Acclaimed Chicago rapper Mick Jenkins has partnered with UK producer EMIL for the collaborative album, A Murder of Crows, widely released on October 3, 2025. This project is a powerful masterclass in intelligent rap, confirming Jenkins’ place at the forefront of conscious hip-hop.

The 11-track album delivers introspective, thought-provoking lyricism set against EMIL’s serene, jazz-infused, and moody production. It is an intellectually charged work that balances deep reflection with sharp critiques of the industry and society. Key tracks like « Coco Gauff » and « Words I should’ve said » (featuring ENNY) perfectly showcase the album’s blend of poetic delivery and complex sonic backdrops.

A Murder of Crows is already being hailed for its cohesive sound and Jenkins’ lyrical peak, making it an essential listen for hardcore hip-hop enthusiasts and fans of artists like Saba and JID.

Mick Jenkins is a perennial favorite for festivals and venues looking to feature high-quality, critically-acclaimed hip-hop. His magnetic stage presence, combined with the momentum of a major new release, guarantees an engaging and impactful live show that appeals to a dedicated, discerning audience.
