Leandro Aparecido Ferreira, plus connu sous le pseudonyme de Mc Fioti, est né le 30 août 1994 à São Paulo. C’est un auteur-compositeur-interprète mais aussi producteur de funk carioca. Le funk carioca dérive du Miami Bass, fusion d’électro-funk et de hip-hop. Le MC brésilien se démarque grâce à un style véritablement novateur. Dans son hit “Bum Bum Tam Tam”, il n’hésite pas à sampler un solo pour flûte traversière de Bach et l’associer à des sonorités électroniques. Il distille des clips colorés et plein d’autodérision mais n’hésite pas à utiliser sa notoriété pour délivrer des messages forts. Début 2021, il remixe son hit “Bum Bum Tam Tam” en hymne à la vaccination, alors même que le Brésil est en proie à une vague pandémique destructrice. Mc Fioti se fait connaître, en 2016 avec le titre “Vai Toma” en featuring avec MC Pikachu. Mais c’est en 2018 que le jeune rappeur devient viral avec son hit “Bum Bum Tam Tam”. Le clip rassemble plus d’un milliard de vues sur Youtube et s’exporte à l’international. Mc Fioti fait du funk carioca, jusqu’alors peu présent des circuits commerciaux, un véritable phénomène. Il collabore avec Future, J Balvin, Stefflon Don et Juan Magan sur le remix de “Bum Bum Tam Tam”. MC Fioti, qui se voulait artiste des favelas, se voit propulser aux côtés des plus grands noms du hip-hop.

Leandro Aparecido Ferreira, better known as McFioti, was born on August 30, 1994 in São Paulo. He is a songwriter -interpreter but also producer of funk carioca. Funk carioca derives from the Miami Bass vibe, where electro fuses with funk and hip-hop. The Brazilian MC stands out thanks to a truly innovative style. On his hit “Bum Bum Tam Tam”, he does not hesitate to sample a solo for flute from Bach and combines it with electronic sounds. He distills colorful and somehow self-mocking clips but does not hang back when it comes to use his notoriety to deliver strong messages. In early 2021, he remixed his hit “Bum Bum Tam Tam “ in a hymn to vaccination, while Brazil is in the grip of a destructive pandemic wave. Mc Fioti became known in 2016 with the title “Vai Toma” featuring MC Pikachu. But it is in 2018 that the young rapper goes viral with his hit “Bum Bum Tam Tam”.
